At what cost progress? Of all the challenges faced by our society, achieving sustainability is perhaps the greatest. Equal access to natural resources and technology is clearly a global goal toward which to strive, but what is to be done when rapidly developing countries like China are rapidly becoming some of the world's biggest polluters, as well? Bad habits tend to develop an irresistible momentum, and considering the world's continuously increasing population growth, the problem seems at times truly insurmountable. This is why it is so important that people offer examples, visions and inspiration for living sustainability through their lives and work. Here, we have compiled bibliographies and notable organizations that do just that. The list is far from complete. We would love to hear about others you know who are providing good and green alternatives to the status quo.
