Editing Basics

Contributing to the Big Picture Wiki couldn't be simpler. On pages that are open to edits, an Edit link will appear in the bottom right sidebar. Once the edit window appears, you can add your comments or suggestion .

The tool bar above the edit window allows you to easily style the text you add.

For additions of Books, Periodicals, Websites and Organizations, please use the format of the existing entries.

For Books 

  Title (in italics)
  Author
  Publisher, Date
  Synopsis (optional)

For Articles 

''Title''
  Author, Publication (in italics)

For Websites and Organizations 

Name
Description

Linking

You can link the title, organization name, or Website to an external website using basic Wiki syntax. To make a link place the full URL, followed by the text you wish to link between square brackets.

A link written like this 

[http://www.provisionslibrary.org Provisions Library]

Will look like this: Provisions Library
